AI document collection for mortgage brokers
Send one link. Your borrower uploads against a checklist — and every file is checked by AI for missing pages, blurry photos and wrong documents before it ever reaches your desk.
Early access is opening in small batches. Public pricing, no sales calls, cancel anytime.
The problem, in loan officers’ own words
Real quotes from public discussions among mortgage professionals. Sources linked.
You can send the cleanest checklist on earth and people will still upload page 3 and 7 of a statement and forget the rest.
I asked for a recent mortgage statement and got a copy of their car insurance
He sent 1 of the 6 things needed. Today he calls me wondering where we're at. I telling waiting on him cause he only sent 1 of 6 and that I need all 6. He literally sends 1 more for a total of 2 of 6 and texts me that "we should be all good now."
I probably toss well over half of documents borrowers send to me. You'd think "send me your 2024 W2" is a straightforward request. I promise, it's not.
Chasing, re-requesting, opening every PDF to see if it’s usable — that’s the part DocChase automates.
Your mortgage document checklist — enforced automatically
How it works: from “send me your documents” to “file complete” — without writing a single chasing email.
-
Build your checklist once
Purchase, refi, self-employed — start from a template or paste your own doc list.
-
Send one link
Borrowers upload from any device. No login, no app, no password resets.
-
Reminders chase for you
Polite, automatic follow-ups until every item on the list is in.
-
AI checks every file on upload
Complete against the checklist? Readable? Actually the document you asked for?
-
You see the scoreboard
“12 of 15 accepted, 3 sent back for a redo” — rejects go back to the borrower automatically.
What the AI catches — before you open a single file
Missing pages, missing items
A bank statement with pages missing is flagged the moment it lands. The borrower gets an instant, specific redo request — and the checklist shows exactly what’s still outstanding.
Blurry & cropped photos
Blurry phone photos, cut-off scans, sideways pages — bounced automatically with plain-English instructions to reshoot. Nothing unreadable sneaks into your file.
Wrong document entirely
Car insurance uploaded under “mortgage statement”, a random PDF where the W2 should be — caught on upload, not at underwriting.
Borrower documents are sensitive. We build like it.
Encrypted & time-limited
Documents will be encrypted at rest, with retention windows you control — files deleted on your schedule, not kept forever.
No trackers, ever

FAQ
Is this a portal for borrowers?
No. DocChase is a tool for mortgage brokers and loan officers. Your borrowers just receive a link — they upload documents without creating an account. If you’re a borrower looking for your lender’s portal, this isn’t it.
What exactly does the AI check?
Three things on every upload: completeness (is every requested item and page there?), readability (is the scan or photo actually legible?), and document type (is this really the bank statement / payslip / ID you asked for?). You stay in control — AI pre-checks and flags, you approve the file.
Do borrowers need an account or app?
No login, no app. One secure link, works on any phone or computer. Built for the least tech-savvy client you have.
How is borrower data protected?
DocChase is built so that documents are encrypted at rest and deleted on a retention schedule you control. This website itself sets no cookies and uses no third-party trackers — the same privacy-first standard the product is held to. Details: privacy policy.
When can I start?
DocChase is in early access. Join the waitlist above — invites go out in small batches, in order, and early members lock in launch pricing ($19–29/mo).
Does it work in the US, UK and Australia?
Yes — checklists are fully yours to define, so purchase, refi, buy-to-let or any local document set works anywhere English-language documents do.
